Lord Of The Hundreds Cheese

“Lord of the Hundreds” is a type of cheese produced by Alsop & Walker, a British cheese company based in Sussex, England. It is a semi-hard, unpasteurized cow’s milk cheese that is aged for at least six months.

Lord of the Hundreds has a distinctive, nutty flavor with hints of caramel and a smooth, creamy texture. The cheese is named after an ancient title used in England during the Anglo-Saxon period, which referred to an administrative division consisting of approximately one hundred households.

Alsop & Walker are known for their artisanal approach to cheese production, and Lord of the Hundreds is one of their signature offerings. It is often enjoyed on cheese platters, paired with fruits, and used in cooking and baking.

Lords of the Hundreds comes from East Sussex, England, and is made from local sheep’s milk. This type of cheese is rustic with a slightly dry, sharp, and nutty flavor.
